As medicine becomes more advanced and complex, and the healthcare environment undergoes dramatic change, IT is essential to healthcare today and in the years ahead.

As the central IT department of the Tokushukai Group, which operates approximately 400 facilities nationwide, including 96 hospitals, we work together to fulfil this mission. We implement electronic medical records, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and departmental systems; develop hospital applications for HR and payroll, pharmaceutical and medical supply ordering, and appointments; build extensive networks to support telemedicine for remote islands and rural areas; and statistically analyse medical big data on more than 14 million patients accumulated across 75 Group hospitals.
