MESSAGEEntering Our Next Stage

Tokushukai General Incorporated Association Information System DepartmentSpecial Adviser Katsuhiko Ozaki

Building on our achievements, we are entering a new stage.
We aim to turn continued progress into innovation and contribute broadly to healthcare in Japan through IT.

The Tokushukai Group operates more than 400 facilities across Japan, including 95 hospitals. The Information System Department leads and advances the Group's rapid adoption of IT by implementing EMRs at its hospitals, building infrastructure that holds medical data on more than 15 million people, and developing systems for statistical analysis of this data.

We are confident that the valuable experience and expertise gained through this work can also benefit hospitals outside the Group. Alongside further advancing Tokushukai's IT strategy, we will strengthen our people, organisation and systems so that these resources can be used more widely.

Our medical big data has attracted considerable attention. Its use is still at an early stage, but AI is expected to accelerate it dramatically. We see great potential in this combination to transform healthcare and will also focus our efforts on this field.

All of us will continue working together with dedication to help create and support new forms of healthcare in Japan. We hope you will look forward to the Information System Department's next stage, and we sincerely appreciate your continued guidance and support.
