On 1 April, the Tokushukai General Incorporated Association Information System Department renewed the Tokushukai Group website. The homepage features a striking image of sea and blue sky, evoking the island and rural communities at the heart of Tokushukai's origins. The site map also has a more functional structure.

Information about individual facilities has been strengthened in both content and presentation. Expanded medical service information includes island and rural hospitals, emergency centres, comprehensive cancer care, a list of cancer care centres and treatment results.

The site also provides detailed coverage of education and training by profession, clinical research, health screening and comprehensive medical check-ups, and recruitment.

New features introduce hospitals providing advanced care, including those accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) and those using the da Vinci robot-assisted surgical system.

Some sections, including explanations of diseases, will be expanded progressively from April. Multilingual content will also be developed in anticipation of growth in medical tourism.

Mitsugu Fukuda, Managing Director of the association, says: “We hope patients and their families will visit the Tokushukai website and that it will help them access care at our hospitals.”
