Thank you for helping us enter our eleventh year last year and begin a new stage.

At the beginning of this year, COVID-19 continues to restrict social activity, but practical use of AI in healthcare is close at hand. A new post-COVID social transformation is also beginning. Although 5G is spreading, its medical applications may still take time. We want to strengthen staff communications through a new chat application, improve remote working environments and reinforce security. We will prepare hospitals to use AI-assisted endoscopic diagnosis and chest image interpretation as these technologies become available. Some collaborations with partner companies are entering practical use, and we will prepare to expand them. We will also structure electronic medical record text and radiology findings so that they can be extracted, cleaned and analysed smoothly alongside structured test and clinical information.

RACTIS has begun operation, completing the Group's pharmaceutical and supply systems. We now want to develop a comprehensive system that also includes food ingredients. Building on health screening PHRs, we will consider next-generation medical records managed by patients themselves. DX has been changing society for several years, and post-COVID changes will demand rapid responses. We want to open the way forward through DX that supports the best possible care.

Specifically, our plans include:

  1. Implementation of facial recognition
  2. Stronger implementation of systems developed with other companies
  3. Trial introduction of medical questionnaires and development of questionnaire AI
  4. Exploration of next-generation networks and remote environments
  5. Implementation and infrastructure for Group communication
  6. Stronger maintenance and infrastructure for in-house systems
  7. More website development projects and e-learning content
  8. A wider range of smartphone application development
  9. Electronic medical record implementation, system development and sales, and consulting outside the Group
  10. Expanded HR/payroll functions incorporating attendance management
  11. Expansion of database research

We plan to pursue these and other initiatives.

The future is built through what we do today. We want to understand current changes accurately, anticipate what comes next and help employees feel the satisfaction of working at the forefront of change.
