I sincerely thank everyone whose support has allowed us to continue our work smoothly through the prolonged pandemic.

This year, we are beginning to move towards a post-COVID society that will not simply return to its previous form. As society changes, our organisation must change with it. In a world where physical and digital experiences are increasingly integrated, hybrid meetings will likely become more common, and understanding the strengths of each format matters. Meetings in a metaverse combining real and virtual spaces may also emerge. In healthcare, use of diagnostic imaging AI is gradually increasing, and we need environments that support its clinical use. We will also improve our chat application to support staff communication. Demand for TMD is growing. Building on last year's NCD-compatible cardiac surgery case database, we want to develop databases for other specialties. Alongside integration of our existing pharmaceutical and supply systems, we will focus on fully automating pharmaceutical processes from ordering to receipt. Strengthening security against ransomware, which shook hospitals last year, is urgent. With Japan several years behind other countries, we want to advance healthcare DX at pace.

Specifically, our plans include:

  1. Expansion of the medical questionnaire system and smartphone support
  2. Development of an integrated pharmaceutical and supply system
  3. Implementation of a patient smartphone application
  4. Further development of Chatis for Group communication
  5. Stronger maintenance and infrastructure for in-house systems
  6. Expanded communications systems, including websites and social media
  7. Electronic medical record implementation and consulting outside the Group, and implementation of our own products
  8. Trials of automation and robotics as part of work style reform
  9. System support for Group expansion
  10. Databases organised by medical procedure
  11. Renewal of BI tools
  12. Development of workflow and asset management systems

We plan to pursue these and other initiatives.

We want every employee to work with pride and enthusiasm, anticipating social change and developing and introducing systems unconstrained by established assumptions. Together, we will work to meet society's needs and help as many patients as possible receive the best care. We appreciate your continued guidance.
